HOW TO USE FLUTRAC (Flupentixol) CAPSULE
Take this medicine in the dose as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole and do not chew, crush or break it. Flutrac 20 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, however, it is better to take it at a fixed time.
HOW FLUTRAC (Flupentixol) CAPSULE WORKS
Flutrac 20 mg Capsule is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by alleviating the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms in depression and relieves symptoms of panic and obsessive disorders.

Flutrac 20 mg Capsule is considered unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown negative effects on the fetus, however, there are very limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Flutrac 20 mg Capsule is considered unsafe to use during lactation. Very limited human data suggest that the drug could pose a significant risk to the new born.
Flutrac 20 mg Capsule may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive which could be dangerous.
Flutrac 20 mg Capsule is considered safe to use in patients with kidney ailments. Very limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Flutrac 20 mg Capsule may not be required in these patients. Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
